Christopher and Tony Thomas founded LightSculptors in the spring of 1996 in Greensboro, North Carolina with a goal of providing high quality, low voltage landscape lighting. Together, they have over 40 years experience in the electronics industry and have developed a unique system of demonstration design that allows the customer to actually view the lighting system before a decision is made.

In the summer of 1998, LightSculptors opened its second operation in the Wilmington, North Carolina area. Then, in February of 2000 LightSculptors brought their expertise west and opened its third operation in Austin, Texas. LightSculptors has installed over 2,000 residential and commercial lighting systems to date.

LightSculptors is a member the Professional Outdoor Lighting Association of America (POLAM), whose members include Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, Lightscapes, and LightSculptors. POLAM was founded over 18 years ago in Nashville Tennessee, and today includes members from Oregon to Florida. It is through this association that LightSculptors is able to secure the highest quality materials, design and manufacture their light fixtures, and provide factory-direct savings. LightSculptors has access to all major fixture brands as well.
